Eat Tripe!!!

Yet more obscure posters have been appearing, often in bus shelters or railway stations.

Eat Tripe

Maybe this really is part of some obscure healthy eating campaign, or possibly a campaign to promote greater understanding of offal in a wider sense.

I myself will be tucking into a bowl of spicy fried tripe this evening.

That is really an example of marketing at its simplest. …but it works! :)

I imagine it will also serve to pique the interest of passersby (like myself, in a web-surfing sense), to find out exactly what tripe is, exactly — I’ve only heard of it, never tried it…

Oh I’ve never had spicy fried tripe, sounds interesting. I usually only eat it in my Pho.
